Nusu-Nusu launched in 2007, the brainchild of Fareed Khimani and Mark Moss – two of East Africa’s most accomplished media professionals. With experience both in front of and behind the camera, we take a hands-on approach to each of our projects, offering complete audio-visual services in the creation of documentaries, programmes and more. Nusu-Nusu’s skilled team is known for programmes like Mashariki Mix and East Africa Sportsline, run on M-Net and SuperSport, and corporate productions for clients like Safaricom and Coca-Cola. Bringing a wealth of experience and expertise, we take projects from conceptualisation to finished product, managing everything from script-writing, storyboarding and location scouting to filming, editing and sound finishing. Our team has worked across the globe, from The IRB 7’s, to The FIFA World Cup, The Olympics, The Commonwealth Games, MNet’s Face of Africa and The African Cup of Nations. We stay up-to-date on the latest technology, investing in the newest industry trends and are the only unaffiliated production company in the region with a high-definition Outside Broadcast Studio Van*, allowing us to offer live broadcast services to our clients. Our technical inventory means that we are able to provide value on international-quality productions.

Airtel Rising Stars is football programme developed around an annual competition of the same name. Nusu-Nusu created the concept of this show, which highlights the talent and goals of an up-and-coming player in each episode before running a mirror segment on a professional player who has made it. A prime example of our complete production services, this show’s ambitious reach makes it one of the most unique programmes in the region. This clip is our profile of Steven Pienaar, originally from South Africa’s Soweto and now playing in the Premier League for Everton Football Club in Liverpool, England.
